Valley House is beautifully restored in the Adirondack tradition. It was previously known as the Noxon Village Inn, and has been serving its guest since the early 1900s. Your hosts, Emile and Joan Valley, have revived the comfort and elegance of that era throughout the home.

Attention Artists!
Join Joan in capturing the scenic beauty of the area. The Red Barn Art gallery showcases some of her fabulous work and serves as a center for artist to use and display their talent.

Emile is retired from the building trades. Throughout his life, he has been involved in planning and constructing buildings ranging from private homes to mall stores. Joan is a retired registered nurse. She semi-retired in the 90s to start a New Hampshire Army-Navy store, specializing in cold weather survival gear. Drawn by the beauty and lifestyle of the Schroon Lake community, Emile and Joan moved to Schroon Lake in 1995. Together, Emile and Joan redesigned and restored the old Adirondacker, transforming it into a memorable, comfortable place for seasonal or permanent residents.

Your peace and comfort are extended to the Valley House grounds also. Joan's flower garden is the perfect retreat on a sunny day. For longer term guests, there is a area where you can join her in tending to the vegetable garden.

Emile and Joan welcome you to Valley House.
