The dining area is walled with windows for a relaxed atmosphere and view of the grounds. The house menu is low sodium, low cholesterol. A variety of meal plans are served family style.

The Valley House has seven rooms, each with a private bath and a small refrigerator. One bed room efficiencies and two room suites are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and toaster. Private phones are installed at your expense. Cable connection is provided free of charge.

Charges are based on:

Required assistance with personal hygiene
Walking abilities (must be able to ambulate)
Required dressing assistance
Medication monitoring
Special diets and daily living activities.
All basic services include private room and bath, three meals, housekeeping, laundry, 24-hour assistance, medication monitoring, physician appointment with transportation arrangements

Basic room rates:

Monthly $1100.00
Daily (less than 2 month registration) not including state and county tax - $45.00.

Basic efficiencies:

Monthly $1500.00
Daily (less than 2 month registration)-not including state and county tax - $65.00

For the more active seniors we now have the Valley Cottage. Spend your summers in the Adirondacks. Enjoy Schroon's 9 hole golf course, tennis , horseback riding, and all the activities the Senior Club has to offer.

The cottage is open from June until Sept. It can accommodate one to two people. There is a complete kitchen, bedroom with queen size bed, shower, living room. A large private back yard with barbecue. The price includes housekeeping, linen, assistance as needed 24/7 and cable TV.

The price includes NYS tax $1950.00 per month.
